In late October, Shuffle Union had a series of gigs as a lead up to the Manila Ska Festival. It was a packed affair at Skarlet's Jazz Kitchen, followed by a Nov 09 party at The Spot. By the way, if you haven't heard yet, the venue formerly known as Ten02, and Skarlet's Jazz Kitchen is now known as The Hydra, heard that they're upgrading the sound system there too (nice!)
We had some special guests, including long-time Shuffle Union drummer Ferdie surprising everyone by jamming with the band again after a few years, and Bronzefist Records' Hideki Takasaki was also in attendance.

Last Nov14, we also played at newly established group, Balay Maynila's initial offering at Kismet over at Shaw Blvd. The group promises a line-up of events in the coming months, with the focal point being Balay Maynila in Malate. Salamat to Balay Maynila's Arnold Morales, Japo, and Bong dela Torre, and Bar 1951's Butch Aldana, for being gracious hosts.

And to cap your November dose, we're inviting everyone at the
70's Bistro this
Nov21 for another night to catch the
Ska Fever with
Coffeebreak Island, Shuffle Union, and Neighbors! And on Nov23, as
PiliSkapinas once again holds
Skamax at
The Spot.
